“ Stumbled on this restaurant by chance but what a nice discovery it was. There was plenty of staff to help you if you needed something that alone is a plus. Jumbo crystal shrimp with peaches and mango sauce is definitely a must try such a refreshing meal. The best fried rice is the salted fish fried rice. Overall the food is really good all the food that we ordered were really good its just a matter of personal preference of what you love the most. We will definitely go back. ”
“ We arrived at Jumbo at 7:30 pm and got a table immediately. The waiter is very efficient. Once we decided, they came by and took the order quickly. We order teriyaki beef short ribs and assorted seafood with two bowls of steam rice. These two dishes tasted pretty good. I liked the way they cooked seafood and vegetables, very tasty, tender, and not overcooked. Due to the good impression of these two dishes, I ordered salt and pepper fish fillets for takeout. It's not crispy batter but full of flavor. I would order these three dishes next time. The whole restaurant was not noisy and the atmosphere was nice. ”
“ Went there for Chinese New Year dinner and it does not disappoint! We ordered a variety of dishes and they all came out fresh, hot and delicious. The highlight dish for me was the black pepper beef which was well seasoned, tender and good amount of beef and vegetables. Although it was dinner, I was are able to order siu mai and tripe which are typically reserved for dim sum in the morning which is a bonus. Overall, highly recommend for the quality and flavor of the dishes, friendly staff and retro atmosphere! ”
“ Stepping into Jumbo Dim Sum feels like traveling back to the 1980s. The retro decor and lively atmosphere instantly set the tone for a unique dining experience. This restaurant stands out not only for its nostalgic vibes but also for its classic dim sum carts, a rare treat in today's modern dining scene. The dim sum selection is exceptional, and it might just be the best in town. One of my absolute favorites is the curry squid – the sauce is rich, flavorful, and truly unbeatable. The egg tarts are equally tempting, with their buttery crust and silky custard filling, making them a must-try. For the best experience, I recommend coming with a group of friends or family. The more people, the more dishes you can sample and share. Jumbo Dim Sum is a perfect spot to enjoy authentic Cantonese flavors while soaking in a charming old-school ambiance. Highly recommended! ”
“ If you want traditional dim sum restaurant that still pushes the carts, this is the place. I believe it's one of the last places that still serves like this. The items on the carts are displayed with clear pictures. It's much better than having to open each it to show customers. Other items have clear dome covers over the items. Very well organized. Staff is excellent and very friendly. The place does get busy and can be a bit loud. All in all, excellent. ”
“ One of the best dimsum places ever! You got to try their curry squid ... soo goood!!! Highly recommend, you got to go try this place, you won’t regret it!!! ”
“ Haven’t been here for a while, and definitely must come back. This Dim Sum place still doing the dim sum karts around and you can see what you are getting compared to some place only order by the menu. The karts are coming quick and you always get new items. And you are constantly eating. The food are delicious and much better then i remember also have way more options to choose from compared to other dim sum places. My favourite is definitely trying the new Pineapple BBQ buns, OmG. They are definitely must have. We probably ordered about 15 different items and too many to list. I would definitely come back. ”
“ Jumbo Dim Sum was delicious! Great place in Edmonton for some savoury, flavourful and classic Chinese food! Some of my personal favourites include the shumai, chow mein and the black pepper chicken! Great food and for an extremely fair price! ”
